&lt;blockquote&gt;I sent you a draft of this week’s AWR.  It might be the basis of another video – and certainly will give you ideas about insuring that the faculty of the Institute is encouraged to think in terms of REAL wellness when formed and in operation.&lt;/blockquote&gt;
Dear Don:

I havent received the AWR draft u mentioned. Please send to both: domingo_liotta@hotmail.com and dliotta@domlio.com

		<description>Hello Domingo:

This is a splendid idea. I hope it is widely emulated. We must discuss this basic idea when we assemble, in person and by video, at the NWC in Stevens Point, WI in a few short months.

I have a suggestion for you concerning the agenda of the Institute - promote quality of life wellness, not the fake stuff that has kept the American wellness movement from having any worthwhile impact on the health status of the people.

If not familiar with the fable about upstream and downstream, have a look at this page - it describes the concept and then offers a two-minute video on the idea. It can be accessed here:
http://www.seekwellness.com/wellness/articles/upstream-downstream.htm

In the beginning, right after there was light, I wrote this fable in my first book entitled &quot;Upstream/Downstream: A Fable For Our Times.&quot; Rod Lees and Bob Boyd showed it to a corporate group recently in Brisbane, Aus. It was

That was in 1976! When I wrote Upstream/Downstream (U/D), I wanted to shift the focus of health planning from treatment to life enhancement (not just prevention).  Forty years later, I am campaigning for a similar paradigm shift for the wellness movement: from prevention (risk reduction) to life enhancement - with respect to worksite wellness.  I sent you a draft of this week&#039;s AWR.  It might be the basis of another video - and certainly will give you ideas about insuring that the faculty of the Institute is encouraged to think in terms of REAL wellness when formed and in operation.

All the best.

		<description>Hi Domingo

Congratulations on your efforts to develop the wellness movement in your university. I am aware of a number of Universities in Australia that have developed programs. Bob Boyd should be able to assist you in developing this relationship further as he works at the Queensland University of Technology.

Regards
