International Wellness Day!

Celebrating the Globalization of Wellness. Always wondered how different it would be operating as a Wellness practitioner and delivering your specific Wellness program/service in another country? Your chance to find out without the travel costs is on Monday 19 July at the NWC. Join the 2010 International NWC attendees for a day of learning and engagement. Grasp the opportunity to hear, see, feel and taste Wellness as it exists around the globe.

For those not involved in the NWC certificate programs being held on Monday 19^th July, members of the International Wellness Community are hosting the International Wellness Day to celebrate and learn about Wellness as it is expressed and practiced in the International arena. All NWC delegates are invited to attend and participate. The cost of attendance is ‘attendees to bring food which reflects their nation’s culture for the ‘Pot Luck’ lunch’.

We are also seeking volunteers to contribute to the day by delivering a short presentation on Wellness as they perceive and experience it in their country, or on a particular Wellness program that they are involved with in their ‘part of the world’ (the USA is International to all who live elsewhere). By sharing our stories and ideas we aim to strengthen for all Wellness practitioners worldwide the common bond of living and working in the same paradigm.

To ensure the success of the day we are therefore also seeking the assistance of a small group of people to assist in planning the program for the day.  The work of this committee should involve a few Skype conversations only.  Apart from the program format, issues to be discussed by the planning committee will be language assistance for LOTE presenters and the “Pot Luck” lunch.
